  1. The 5 Types of Two-wheeler Helmets

  2. Full Face Helmets As the name suggests, full-face helmets provide complete coverage over the head and face extending to the front of the neck. The differentiating aspect of a full-face helmet is that it has a chin-section which covers the lower-half of the face. This type of helmet is preferred by long distance tourers and daily commuters alike for its superior weather and road noise protection. Full-face helmets come in both plain, single color options as well as with attractive decal options. These helmets come with single or dual visors (sun-visor) and in sizes varying from S (small) to XL (extra-large).

  3. Open Face Helmets Open face helmets cover the entire head and extend over the ears. Open face helmets do not have the front chin-section which allows for better air circulation and are preferred mostly for daily commutes and long rides in hot weather conditions. Just like full-face helmets, open face helmets are also available in plain and attractive decal options and in size ranging from S to XL. Open face helmets usually have a single clear visor, but you can also find options that come with dual visors.

  4. Flip-up Helmets Flip-up helmets are a type of modular helmets that gives you the best of both a full-face design and openness of an open face helmet. You can completely lift off the visor section with the use of conveniently placed levers at the side of the helmet and convert it into an open face helmet on the move! Available in both plain and decorative decals, flip-up helmets are available in sizes S through XL. Modular helmets are mostly preferred for touring but commuters use it equally too.

  5. Flip-off Helmets With a modular design similar to flip-up helmets, the flip-off helmets give you the additional option of completely removing the front fascia of the helmet including the visor and the chin section which makes these easy for use with motorcycle riding goggles. These helmets come in sizes S through XL and in both plain and colorful decal options.

  6. Sporting Helmets Sporting helmets are specialty helmets that are not meant for riding a two-wheeler. You can use sporting helmets for horse riding, golfing, and other active sports. Sporting helmets are usually lighter in weight and come in different colorful options ranging from sizes S to XL.
