A Deliverance System on How to Cast Out Demons The act of performing Demonic Deliverance from influences is a gift promised by Christ himself to all those who hold unshakable trust and steadfast faith in him. In Mark 16:17, Jesus proclaims, “And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;” By this faith, the ardent believers of Christ have been casting out demons, even the evilest of them, in the miraculous name of Jesus. Here is a brief on various preparations and procedures involved in the deliverance from demons as propounded by Evangelism Training: Submit yourself to the Lord To cast out the demons, the performer of deliverance must ascertain his/her proximity to Christ and the relevance of his/her life to the will of God. The Almighty does not demand the ultimate purity of soul but only the repentance of sins. The deliverer must ensure that the sins are confessed, repented and made proper penance for, before performing the deliverance. It is essential to remain free from the chains of unconfessed sins that blocks the reception of abundant blessings and prevents the execution of effective Demonic Deliverance. Call out to the Holy Spirit According to 1 Corinthians 12:11, “All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.” It is the Holy Spirit that grants to a person, the gift of performing deliverance and freeing souls from the possessions of evil spirits. This makes praying to the Spirit of God, to provide strength and grace to the deliverer, the most pivotal part of expelling the demons. Prepare the person Before praying for the possessed and performing his deliverance, it is important to prepare him/her mentally. It would be better if the possessed enter a fast & prayer effort before the exorcism. This will strengthen them both spiritually and mentally and will also help them with a serene recovery post-deliverance. Prayer of command Prayer during the demonic deliverance cannot be like the prayers of praise and worship that are offered during regular services or thanksgiving. When Jesus cast out demons, he did not negotiate with them. Instead, he commanded them to leave. The person performing the deliverance is doing so in the powerful name of Jesus and the authority granted by the Almighty. The prayer should convey this power and authority to the evil spirit commanding it to ‘leave’ the afflicted and ‘get out’ of their body at once. Holy Symbols The presence of Holy Symbols causes the demons to tremble with fear. Powerful exorcisms in casting out the most stubborn and the evilest of the demons are being performed with the presence of the Holy Cross, Holy Oil, and Holy Water.
