Wastewater in Global Scenario An estimated 52% of wastewater is treated globally, treatment rates vary drastically between high- income (74%), upper-middle income (43%), lower-middle income (26%) and low-income (4.3%) countries. Wastewater production (m3 yr−1 per capita) (a), collection (%) (b), treatment (%) (c) and reuse (%) (d) at the country scale. Wastewater reuse is particularly high in Gulf and North African countries.

Plants serves as Biondicator of the system SBT Biodegradation Filter media (filter material, culture & catalyst) helps in biodegradation of the organic molecules which is essential for site rejuvenation. Range of microflora ensures the microbial diversity required for degradation of various contaminants. Filtration Chemical and hydraulic properties of the filter media helps in the adsorption of organic molecules and drains the fluid .
