The Wrapped Bounding Sphere Hierarchy (WBSH) presents a fixed hierarchical structure for effectively managing motion and collision detection in deformable necklace-like structures. With a combinatorial description, each node is defined by O(1) leaf spheres, allowing for discrete changes across the hierarchy. WBSH's stability is maintained through cascade verification at each time step, rapidly repairing inconsistencies. We explore the separating pairs and sphere packing problem, aiming for subquadratic optimal time complexity in self-collision detection using a sparse spanner approach. Proximity information is efficiently captured using Power Diagram (PD) methodologies, demonstrating significant potential for real-time applications in geometric computing.
