    8. FSIS Beef Trim E. coli O157:H7 Sampling Program Program began in April 2007 A total of 2,300 samples have been collected and analyzed as of March 2009. There has been a total of 15 positive results (0.65% positive rate)

    16. 16 Listeria monocytogenes CY2009 Plans: Publish the FSIS risk assessment on deli-sliced meat compared to pre-sliced meat Host a public meeting jointly with FDA on a planned risk assessment considering the risk factors at retail Substantively increase the number of monthly RLm assessments, including product, food contact surface, and environmental sampling in order to meet the 4-year cycle for FSAs
