The Classification of Institution There are two major categories • Manufacturing Sector • Service sector For the purpose of determining the award the following classification will be used: • Large Scale - more than 250 full time employees • Medium Scale - between 50 and 250 full time employees (Including 50 and 250) • Small Scale - less than 50 full time employees

  5. Classification of Awards Cristal Award and Gold Award Excellent Institutions • Super Excellent - Institutions received Crystal Award • Excellent - Institutions received Gold Award

  6. Classification of Awards contd..... Productivity Institutions Institutions will be classified according to the marks received at the field inspection. A - Institutions which receive 1000 or more than 850 marks B - Institutions which receive between 840 and 750 marks C - Institutions which receive between 749 and 650

  7. Classification of Awards contd..... Productivity Potential Institutions D1 - Institutions received marks between 649 and 550 D2 - Institutions received marks between 549 and 450 E Grade- Institutions that need to be improved Institutions which receive less than 449 marks

  8. Classification of Awards contd..... Also action will be taken to assess the Institutions which receive the high marks in accordance with the main assessment criteria.
