Warsaw good practices

In 2010, the City of Warsaw, led by project coordinator Karolina Iwińska, launched initiatives to commemorate the 200th anniversary of composer Frédéric Chopin. This effort aimed to strengthen the city's cultural identity by raising awareness of Chopin’s deep connections to Warsaw. The campaign resulted in a 5% increase in recognition of Chopin’s ties to the city and a 13% increase in awareness of his childhood spent there. Furthermore, the initiatives included organizing events and improvements to public spaces, contributing significantly to local community engagement and tourism during the UEFA EURO 2012™.
