  2. Long ago, in a village called Nazareth an angel appeared to a girl called Mary. He came close and had a little in her ear. The Son of God was the of conversation. Mary was to have God’s baby!

  3. Imagine her ! Not everyone was delighted. She heard many a from her neighbours. She heard their as they wondered whose baby she was having.

  4. Joseph, her fiancé, had a ! In the dream an angel told him that Mary was having God’s baby.

  5. They had a quiet wedding without many They were happy though.

  6. Then they had to go to Bethlehem. Joseph tried to find them somewhere to stay in a but everywhere was full. He even started to ask if there were rooms in pubs and but they ended up in a stable. It was before they had a chance to rest.

  7. That night the Son of God was born. The angels in heaven sang with joy!

  8. Jesus was God’s own Son. He was divine.

  9. Not far away there were sheep in the fields. They were looked after by shepherds, simple men some of them . They heard singing that came from .

  10. The shepherds visited the Holy Family. It was late when they arrived, in fact it was . The shepherds were ordinary people, like us. God’s message was that Jesus was born to save of people; not just the rich or the clever ones.
