Social & Ethical Issues Privacy & anonymity: • Users don’t know that their information is being used for marketing campaigns • Users are being tracked by the PepsiCo websites through their mobile devices Reliability: • Users don’t know that their information is being taken but they find the sites reliable because of the appearance • The sites are not reliable at all once the Privacy Policies are read Integrity: • The sites are honest but since the websites are made to attract teenagers they know that they wont read the Privacy Policies
