GREEN DEMONTRATION ROOM-P4-

The Green Demonstration Room (P4) project, led by Architect Racha Itani and developed in collaboration with CDRP, Makhzoumi Foundation, and the Lebanon Green Building Council, aims to educate and engage local communities in sustainable practices. Set in Jounieh, this 200m² space demonstrates green building principles, energy efficiency, and renewable technologies. With activities ranging from solar water heating to wind turbine demonstrations, it seeks to instill environmental awareness and encourage the use of renewable energy among students of all ages.

  5. About P4 The Project includes 3 partners: • The Center of Research and Development (CDRP) • The Makhzoumi Foundation • The Lebanon Green Building Council “LGBC")

  6. Recent Stage • MOU signed with MEHE and MF on January 21st 2014 • Design stage had been finalized • Preparing for execution phase • Some organizations are sponsoring our project. • We are still welcoming your support.

P4-Aims •  Establish a Green Demonstration Room and Renewable Energy devices for students.     • Demonstrate the concept and principles of Green Buildings. • Developing awareness on the importance of the principles of energy efficiency, water conservation and other environmental issues by assisting as many learners as possible of all ages and backgrounds.  • Encourage the use of renewable energy technologies. • Train science teachers for the Center.
