FACT SHEET CALIFORNIA VALLEY SOLAR RANCH QUICK FACTS The 250-megawatt (AC) California Valley Solar Ranch (CVSR) in San Luis Obispo County is actively generating reliable solar power for Pacific Gas & Electric customers, while helping California achieve its progressive renewable energy goals. Location: San Luis Obispo County, California Capacity: 250 MWac Owners: NRG Energy, NRG Yield Design/Construction: SunPower Power Purchaser: Pacific Gas & Electric The power plant, which was completed in October 2013, is jointly owned by NRG Energy and NRG Yield. SunPower designed and constructed the site utilizing SunPower™ Oasis™ Power Plant Technology—a fully integrated, modular solution consisting of cost-optimized 1.5-megawatt power blocks which enable scalable deployment of clean, renewable energy. Oasis technology enabled CVSR to begin delivering energy to the grid a full 12 months ahead of plant completion.
