The RE Independent Power Producer Programme (REIPPP) Overview • REIPPP was created to realise the 3 725MW target set by the Integrated Resource Plan 2010 • Contributes towards the socio-economic & environmental goals • Procurement takes place over 5 rounds subject to available MW’s • Allocation across a range of qualifying technologies • Onshore wind; CSP; Solar PV; Biomass; Landfill Gas & Small Hydro • 100MW has been ring-fenced for Small Projects – under 5MW • Renewable Energy Feed-In Tarrif (REFIT) was maximum price cap
