  2. LISTENING DASHBOARD: search misspellings  search “tech soup” , “techsoup” and @techsoup to catch mentions that are mis-steps and common misspellings, for ex ”tech-soup” @techsoup did not register, so we missed an opp to thank and RT/claim the tweet

  3. FACEBOOK ENGAGEMENT  If you look at engagement, you will see that there are comments made in FB that are talking about us.  Log in as the org (not as you) and reply and reshare the mention. Be sure to tag the org who mentioned you. For ex:

  4. AND DON’T LIKE YOUR OWN POSTS  make sure to not like pages as the org when you post stuff, log out and relog as you. D’OH! REMEMBER TO RELOGIN AS YOU!

  5. POST IN FACEBOOK, NOT VIA 3RD PARTY DASHBOARD - ONLY TAKES 30 SECS MORE! Should read via nonprofit times and tag their FB page

  6. @MENTION & ATTRIBUTE  On twitter, be sure to attribute articles to the author and publication by tagging them.  Let the author/publication know you saw them & they will RT/ mention us Should be/ via @author, more important than pic, if yr concerned about character count.

  7. DON’T MISS OPPORTUNITY TO ENGAGE AN INFLUENCER THIS SHOULD BE /VIA @WSJ (ONLY 3 CHARACTERS!)
