  2. Mat 11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

  3. Joh 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

  4. Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Joh 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God

  5. A Warning against false teaching or false doctrine. • There were those trying to strip Jesus Christ of His humanity. • John states there were some that fellowshipped among us, but were not “of us.”

  6. Because The Spirit of the Living God taking residence in the believers, there is discernment as to “who is who” among the church. • Beware of those that will not only try to steal your confidence in Christ, • There are those that try and seduce you with all types of ideas and distractions away from the true Christ and the true Church.

  7. I. BE Aware of the Abundant Love of The Father

  8. 1Jn 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

  9. 1Jn 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

  10. 1Jn 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

  11. 1Co_2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

  12. 1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

  13. 1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

  14. 1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

  15. There is hope that Christ will appear 2. That we will see Him. 3. That we will become “like Him”

  16. II. BE Aware That Christ Lifted Sin Away

  17. 1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

  18. 1Jn 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

  19. 1Jn 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

  21. III. BE Aware of the One That Destroyed The Works of The Devil

  22. 1Jn 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous

  23. 1Jn 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
