Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi has launched a new budget phone under the Redmi brand. The Redmi series of phones has already attracted quite a lot of attention earlier this year with their Redmi Note 3 model, although it was priced above 10,000. “The Redmi 3S series is priced under 10,000, and will be available on Mi.com and Flipkart in two variants, Redmi 3S at INR 6,999, and Redmi 3S Prime at INR 8,999 only”, informs Vaikundarajan.

  2. Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi has launched a new budget phone under the Redmi brand.   3. While Redmi 3S comes with 2GB RAM, and 16 GB of internal storage, Redmi 3S Prime packs in 3GB of RAM with 32 GB of internal storage. The external storage in both phones is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card. The phone has a dual-SIM support, which has become a norm in smartphones these days.   4. “XiaomiRedmi 3S looks quite premium for its asking price” says Vaikundarajan. The smartphone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with four cores clocked at 1.4GHz and four cores clocked at 1.1GHz. It has is a 5-inch IPS display with a screen resolution of 720x1280 pixels, just like the Redmi 3, and will run on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 with MIUI v7.0, though it may be upgraded to MIUI v8.0. http://vaikundarajans.blogspot.in
