WHAT IS LOCAL SOCIAL AMBIT The Local Social Ambit, formed by the local municipalities, is the local section of the National Social Politics, established by “ The Regional Social Plan for an Integrated intervention System and social services in 2000/02” to start new ways of planning, organization and management of social services The Local Social Ambits objectives are: • Giving a net of essential services in the area which guarantees an equal access to the citizens • Creating conditions to integrate the various services, paying attention to the relationship between health, social and welfare systems • Favouring the fulfilment of the national and regional planning • Favouring a more unitary function of social services of the different municipalities In the Marche Region, 24 ambits corresponding to the Local Health Services or to multiples of them have been established to cover all the region needs, as for ASUR Marche

  5. 3. WHAT ALL THE SUBJECTS DO? Monitoringthe territory needs Analysing the service system Defining the priorities Deciding the objects to be reached Evaluating the financial resources SUMMING UP All the subjects realize the Social Ambit Plan which state how all the territory social systems have to act according to the needs and the financial resources SOCIAL AMBIT PLAN Inside the Social Ambit Plan all the interventions are defined according with the schools and connected to an easier access to the education system, to promote comfort and prevent discomfort

SERVICES FOR SCHOOL /1 Listening Centres • They are an Ambit Service, ruled in an associative form, for all the students attending primary, secondary schools of our district no.21 • Indirect addressees: teachers, parents and administrative personnel. • The service offers socio-psycho-pedagogic support through listening, group activities and training. • The operators in schools are psychologists, sociologists, pedagogues and social assistants with the supervision of the Family Advice Bureau Chief Executive Local Health Service no.12

LISTENING CENTRES6 YEAR- LISTENING AND MONITORING “ YOUTH’S ROBLEMS” OBJECTIVES: a) Favouring, with the help of experts, a relationship net in which young people can learn and appreciate themselves and adapt each other: they support young people giving the information, helping them taking decisions, solving problems, developing their critic capacities; b)Offering to the adults ( teachers, parents, administrative personnel) the instruments of knowledge and psychological support to improve “ right relationships”

LISTENING CENTRES6 YEAR- LISTENING AND MONITORING “ YOUTH’S ROBLEMS” With respect to the general themes which have mostly met with the favour of the teachers, parents and students, the following should be pointed out: • School relationships • Family relationships • Psycho-physic development • Learning Besides these themes, other ones connected with psycho- affective educations and food can occur

SERVICES FOR SCHOOLS/2 PASSEPARTOUT FOR SCHOOL It is a project for integration at school, prevention of discomfort and promotion of young people’s comfort Interventions are based on actions to make easy the educational structure access and to favour integration and socialization of children aged 6-14, or: • Free school transport • Full time school • Free school lunch

SERVICES FOR SCHOOL/3 ANNUAL SUPPORT PLANS FOR IMMIGRANTS The annual support plan, with the financial help of the region, is for all the immigrants who live in district municipalities Support activities such as language help and all the services supporting the compulsory school integration of young immigrants

SERVICES FOR SCHOOL/4 CULTURAL INTERMEDIATION IN SCHOOLS The project, with the financial help of our province, has the aim to intercultural intermediation in schools to favour the school integration and the welcome of foreign children in their new social context. The project started in September 7th 2005 with the sign of a Program agreement among : Marche Region, Ascoli Piceno Province, Social Ambits no.20-21-23-24, different school levels and the 3 Adult Education centres.

REGIONAL GUARANTOR FOR INFANCY AND ADOLESCENCE/1 WHAT DOES HE DO? • The protection of the right to be underage • Supervision and welcome • Cooperation planning actions WHAT IS IT USEFUL FOR (ITS FUNCTIONS)? • The regional law no.18 15th October 2002 establishes the figure of the guarantor for infancy and adolescence to ensure a plenty accomplishment in the territory of the rights and interests of young people. • Many are its functions, as shown in art.1 of the law

REGIONAL GUARANTOR FOR INFANCY AND ADOLESCENCE/2 The guarantor: • in cooperation with local institutions, promotes activities for the diffusion of infancy and adolescence culture with the aim to recognition of children as “ subjects of right” and support their participation to local activities. • Supervises, through assistants, the fulfilment of the International agreement in the territory and welcomes intervention against transgressions on youth’s laws. • Makes interventions on regional and local administrative procedures whenever there are risks and damages for underage people.

REGIONAL GUARANTOR FOR INFANCY AND ADOLESCENCE/3 • d)  Looks after the realization of information services for children and adolescents, he supervises with Corecom tv programs, mass media, press communication to protect the underage people , in order to advice the Authorities in case of contraventions to RAI broadcast Code. • e)   Promotes campaigns for prevention and against young people’s abuse, exploitation and violence. • f)    Suggests or give advice on rules for underage families to be protected, gives technical and legal support for social workers and makes a list of people who can be named as tutor or curator of children.

  16. REGIONAL GUARANTOR FOR INFANCY AND ADOLESCENCE/4 The guarantor gives financial aids to school projects for the promotion of the underage and adolescents’ rights and for their psycho-physic welfare.
