Transforming Nutrition: The D11 Good Food Project's Impact on Student Health

The D11 Good Food Project aims to revolutionize the way meals are served in our district by eliminating highly processed foods from our menus. Achieving this goal by January 2012, we focus on preparing meals from scratch with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Key recent achievements include injecting ~$750,000 into the local economy, reducing added sugars in meals, receiving national recognition for innovation, and expanding our Summer Food Service Program. Together, we tackle hunger and promote health in our community's children. Thank you for your support!
