Cite your stuff 3. Know where to look It seems easy to go straight to Google or another search engine to find information; however, relying totally on information from the web is a bad idea. The library and its website provide access to online databases and other scholarly sources of research.
Cite your stuff 4. Take careful notes Cutting and pasting is an easy way to gather information; however this could easily result in plagiarism. Make sure to read the resources you are using for your research. Make careful and concise notes based upon what you read.
Cite your stuff 5. Ask for help if you need it Don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it. A teacher or librarian can clarify the questions you may have on plagiarism.
Cite your stuff When you learn to correctly cite your sources of information, and how to carefully conduct research; then, you are on your way to SUCCESS.
