  1. IBPS PO cut off marks The government examination usually been conducted nationally and more than lakhs of candidates apply for the examination. In this same way, the government put out examination for the banking sector under the supervision of Institute of banking personnel selection (IBPS) to hire people who are worthy enough to become a probationary office in various public sector banks. These candidates will get the benefit of government job and the allowance along with job safety. These are some of the main reason young aspirant candidates apply for the exam to qualify for the post in banking sector. The examination of IBPS PO is conducted every year nationally to hire those individual who can clear the exam and is perfect for the job profile. As the competition for the examination is high, the cut-off range will change based on the level of paper. If the paper is too easy then the cut off range will be high where as if it’s difficult then the range of cut-off will get low. The examination is taken place in three phases: one is prelims exam while other is Mains exam and the third is an interview. Each stages of examination have its own cut-off marks and this will be declared after each exam. The cut-off marks are decided by the IBPS based on the number of candidates appeared and the number of candidates who has cleared certain score range. The main purpose is to filter out as many as candidates in the first round itself The prelims exam score are only considered for qualifying for mains examination. If the candidate fails to clear the prelims then they won’t be able to qualify for Mains. The final merit is declared based on the marks obtained in the Mains and interview. The IBPS PO books which are available in local store and online sites are bifurcated based on the exam phases. The vacancies available at present, will also affect the cut-off marks which will be decided by IBPS and those selected candidates will be posted at various banks based on the merit list. The tentative month of the examination are notified which can be in the month of November and December for prelims and mains respectively.
