Vocational Services is also about utilising members skills and expertise to best serve the club helping to deliver success in everything we do

  7. Vocational Training Teams In 2013 Rotary ceased to offer and organize Group Study Exchange grants and visits, replacing them with Vocational Training Teams These are teams of people with specific skills who are sponsored to work with communities to both transfer those skills and enhance their own with a different experience Com - Voc is exploring the possibility of sending a Vocational Training Team to Haiti in order to follow on from the great work being undertaken by the International Committee with their Haiti Water Project. The intention is to send a team that would deliver through training a particular skill that benefit the whole community. What do you think of it so far?

  8. Vocation Vocational Areas include: • Mentoring and working with organizations and individuals • Directly helping individuals with specific needs • Supporting other organisations in our community with specific needs such as manpower, technical skills, project management skills, marketing or fundraising skills Benefits include • Forging links with other community organizations • Getting involved in our community at a lower scale of commitment than some projects • Engagement of new members • Using our unique skills and interests to directly support our community
