This project focuses on gendered aspects of trafficking, particularly women in prostitution, with cooperation between NGOs and government agencies. It aims to develop a regional inter-agency network, strengthen national teams, define support standards, and address challenges such as long-term financing and sustainability.

What we do • Developing a regional Nordic-Baltic inter-agency network • Strengthened national networking processes and national inter-agency teams • Working towards shared principles and standards • Development and reinforcement of safe shelter and support/assistance programmes for women VOT • Outreach and dissemination activities
Defining standards for support and assistance • 1. Identificationof women VOT • Reflection period and residence status • Sheltered housing and support services • “Safe and planned returns” – what does it mean? • Victim and witness protection for VOTs • Possibilities for financial support and access crime victim compensation schemes
