Explore the fascinating tale of how Goddess Lakshmi emerged from the churning of the Ocean of Milk, following the curse placed on Lord Indra by Durvasa Muni. When Indra insulted the sage, he faced the wrath of the curse, causing the Devas to lose their powers to the Asuras. Both factions sought immortality through divine nectar, and the churning commenced with the guidance of Lord Vishnu, who took the form of a tortoise. As the ocean churned, numerous divine treasures surfaced, including Goddess Lakshmi, who later became the consort of Lord Vishnu.
