VISION STATEMENT The vision of Kalispell’s revitalized core area is to transform from an industrially-oriented core into a new and vibrant, pedestrian friendly, mixed-use neighborhood, focusing upon retail, residential, entertainment, and cultural amenities designed to proudlyand consistentlycomplement the existing historic Kalispell downtown area.

DRAFT GOALS • Removal of the railroad tracks • Develop linear park/trail on old tracks • Increase north/south street accesses in the area • Architectural designs to compliment downtown • Remove blighted structures • Replace with a mix of retail, service, residential, public and open space uses   • Walkability – Live, work and play • Entrances features to define downtown • Multiple use streets - car, pedestrian, bicycle
