The school phone number is 352-4343. • Students should be reading for at least 15 minutes every night. Please remember to record the books your child has read in their reading log every night. • Please remember to bring in your Box tops for Education. • Progress Reports will be going home on Friday, Sept. 13 • Please review your child’s progress and sign and return the progress report to school. What We’re Learning: Communication Arts: We will continue the guided reading groups this week. The skills we will be learning are consonant blends, identifying and analyzing character and setting and monitoring our reading speed and fluency. Writing: We will be working on small moment writing and will use our editing and revising skills. Math: We will be focusing on addition strategies by adding three numbers, making sums of 10, and solving addition word problems. Social Studies: We will be learning about different regionsby exploring different maps. Science: We will begin our unit on exploring space.
