With over 21 years of teaching experience, I am excited to guide your child through an engaging curriculum focused on linear algebra, the number system, geometry, and more! Students will have daily practice to build their skills, along with regular tests and quizzes to assess their understanding. Old Standards • PO 4. Translate between different representations of linear equations using symbols, graphs, tables, or written descriptions.
Common Core Standards • 8.F.4. Construct a function to model a linear relationship between two quantities. Determine the rate of change and initial value of the function from a description of a relationship or from two (x, y) values, including reading these from a table or from a graph. Interpret the rate of change and initial value of a linear function in terms of the situation it models, and in terms of its graph or a table of values.
Assignments/Homework: • Math is a subject that requires daily practice to build and retain skills and knowledge. As such, your child will have an assignment daily, with the exception of test days. • (On a test day, there is no assignment or homework.)

Grade notification: • I will need your help by staying actively involved in your child’s education.
