  1. Thermometer • Measures Temperature. • Temperature measures of hot or cold a substance is. Measures the kinetic energy of the air molecules in the air.

  2. ANENOMETER • MEASURES THE WINDSPEED OF THE AIR. • THE CUPS GET FILLED WITH THE AIR AND MAKES IT SPIN AND DIFFERENT SPEEDS. • THE FASTER THE CUPS MOVE THE FASTER THE WIND

  3. Weather Vane • shows which way the wind is blowing. • Shows the direction in which the wind is coming from and where it is going.

  4. Barometer • Measures the air pressure in a particular area. • As Temperature increases and decreases molecules will hit the aneroid cell and move the needle.

  5. Sling Psychrometer • This instrument measures relative humidity and dewpoint. • As the instrument spins the two thermometers will read two different temperatures • Dry Bulb-Temperature of the air that is being measured. • Wet Bulb- Temperature of the air as water evaporates. “Cooling Process”

  6. Rain Guage
