The Mathematics and Statistics Help Service aims to foster a judgment-free learning environment where trained staff assist students in developing independence and achieving excellence in mathematics and statistics, which are essential for their primary academic programs. Established through collaborative efforts within the Faculty of Engineering and other departments, the service has evolved since its pilot phase in 2007, securing funding and appointing dedicated management. With a focus on effective learning and teaching strategies, the service provides tailored resources and support, ensuring students engage actively in their studies.
