  5. Summary of the course The course aims at giving the theoretical and practical bases of the various stakes and aspects of leadership and team management. The course is about people and human nature. It helps understand how employees become committed to an organization and what motivate them to work. This course concerns any listener, in a future function of management or consulting, either as general practitioner or as a specialist. Group Dynamics and Leadership

GROUP WORK : Team building STEP1 : workgroups are to be created Potential leaders of groups explain why he or she should be a leader of a group : • Personal qualities or skills • Experience as a leader • Personal motivation to be a leader • Work objectives • Expectations from the group members Choosing the team members : • Each potential member explain • his or her special skills or qualities in a workgroup • What he (she) can bring to the team • Why the leader should be confident about his(her) contribution Each leader chooses his(her) “ideal” team The 2 leaders compare their list with the teacher : negociation Final listing of the 2 teams Explanation of the 2 leaders about their choice strategy, and the “identity” of their team (chance of success) STEP2: creation of the WordPress Blog for each group
