Stargazing Opportunities and Homework in Astronomy
Join us for an exciting stargazing event at Ritchie Observatory on Bainbridge Island! Complete your notes on "Charting the Heavens" and remember that the UW registration deadline is October 10th. If you need an extension, feel free to reach out. As part of your homework, reflect on why the moon rises and sets at different times throughout the month. You’ll also be required to attend an astronomical event once per trimester, such as a star party or a visit to a planetarium, and submit a one-page paper on your experience for 50 points.
