  1. Navigato Aaron Mininger Grove City College miningerah1@gcc.edu Shawn Recker Grove City College reckerst1@gcc.edu Erik Singer Grove City College singerer1@gcc.edu Introduction Navigato is a single player platformergame, which was developed using XNA 4.0. The game was designed specifically for the Windows ® Phone 7. The main character finds himself trapped in a dream world. The player must utilize powers to overcome the challenging levels to defeat the darkness within. The Project The development of Navigato took place in the Spring 2011 semester as part of an independent study. Our team utilized current design principles in mobile gaming to create a platformer game. Navigato is planned to be released on the Xbox Live ® MarketPlace for the Windows ® Phone 7. Controls The main game play feature of Navigato is precision jumping. The phone controls were the most difficult to implement. The game requires fine-grained maneuverability; however, touch-screen devices do not allow for fast response time.
