In response to the Governing Board's request, the PUSD Administration has updated the Public Records Request form and revised the fee schedule. Key changes include: the potential for no cost for electronically provided records based on request volume, a reduction in the cost of printed records from 20 cents per page to 5 cents per page, and a decrease in the cost for audio/visual recordings to $5.00 per DVD from $10.00. Updated Form and Fee Schedule • At the request of the Governing Board, Administration has researched and reviewed the current Request for Public Records form and fee schedule and made the following changes/recommendations: • Making it known that depending on the volume of data requested, documents provided electronically may be available at no cost to the requestor • Reduced the cost of printed records from 20 cents per page to 5 cents per page • Reduced the cost of audio/visual recordings to $5.00 per DVD from $10.00
Recommendation • Administration recommends the adoption of the revised Public Records Request form and fee schedule
