Strengthening CABs

This agenda outlines a meeting focused on enhancing the effectiveness of Community Advisory Boards (CABs) in Canada, specifically in St. John’s and rural Newfoundland and Labrador. Key discussions will include reviewing CAB missions, addressing struggles such as limited capacity and communication issues, and suggesting both practical and philosophical approaches to improve collaboration. The session aims to foster housing stability, address homelessness, and ultimately empower CABs with the necessary support and data to be effective in their roles, while acknowledging the complexities involved.
