Different Governmental Agencies • If on the Airport, Dade County Aviation Department will have separate, additional approval requirements and process. • FAA has several divisions • Responsibility on Crane Operator to obtain all needed approvals

FAA Divisions and Military continued • USAF – Air Force • USN – Navy • USA – Army • AT-OSG (Operations Service Group) • ATCT (Air Traffic Control Tower) • All may respond, but must respond by deadline to give input

ASN Data Available to FAA Users • Case Data – Summary Information • Part 77 – Impact to IFR Procedures • POS – Penetration of Surfaces Report • Design Surfaces • Documents (email, maps, etc) • Correspondence Archive (Determinations, Extensions, etc) • Division Responses (Used in Determination)
Objective – Determination Letter • Either No Hazard, or • No Hazard with Provisions • Typical: Crane has Flags and Lights at Night • Also: Could Require NOTAM(S) Issued for IFR Procedure Modification - Departure Procedures or Instrument Approach Procedures
