Eco Fund’s Mission By joining forces, we can help Slovenia to be a country on the sunny side of the Alps, which is attractive to businessmen, investors, tourists, and casual visitors. • Our Mission is to support the continuous development of the Slovenian economy with emphasis on environmental protection and to stimulate and promoteenvironmental awareness in our partners, such as enterprises, local communities, and individuals. Eco Fund’s Objectives To live in a healthy environment is one of the fundamental human rights, which also applies to other forms of life. • reduction of water, ground and air pollution, and emission of noise and radiation; • proper waste management; • decrease of risks; • conservation and protection of biotic diversity and genetic sources. Eco Fund’s Projects Enterprises which combine economic development with environmental awareness will, in the long run, be much more successful then those who neglect it. • Loan Financing of Local Infrastructure • Loan Financing of Environmental Investments in Corporate sector • Air Pollution Abatement Program • Ozone Depleting Substances Phaseout Project Development

Air Pollution Abatement Program • Loans are granted for: • conversion from dirty solid fuels and heavy oils to more environmentally friendly sources of energy, such as natural gas, • erection of heating facilities using renewable sources of energy and • erection of more environmentally friendly heating systems in new buildings. • Until now Eco Fund approved: • 4,857 loans to households and • 67 loans to boiler houses • Disbursed total about 4 billion SIT APAP
