  1. Ten Minute Walk From Woodstock Middle School

  2. This is the first significant building we came to after leaving our school, the Saint James United Baptist Church. This church is where we go if we have to evacuate our school.

  3. The Armory is a federal building were soldiers and cadets come to train for military service.

  4. The next significant building is Tim Hortons. It started as a simple coffee shop named after hockey player, Tim Horton. A Tim Hortons can now be found in most towns and cities in Canada. It serves things like breakfast foods such as doughnuts, and the most popular, coffee.

  5. The L.P. Fisher Library is where people in Woodstock sign out and exchange or renew books. It is a historical building, almost a century old.

  6. This is a picture of our Main Street. We are standing in front of the library.

  7. Canada Post: The post office is a place where everyone in town goes to get their mail. It is a big grey building, containing three floors and tons of mail boxes.

  8. Carleton County Court House and Cenotaph sit along Main Street.The Carleton County Court House is a sandstone, brick, historical building. The cenotaph, is a statue of a WWI soldier, and was constructed in the early 1920s. The base was inscribed with the names of Carleton County men who were casualties of WWI. Each year in November we celebrate our Remembrance Day services here.
