Problem • Stuart Hall has lower retention rates once students reach the upper level school, partially due to students transferring to the VA Governors School • The Emphasis Programs are meant to provide students the opportunity to engage in more rigorous academic work similar to that at VA Governors school • The Program materials are text-heavy and do not communicate the requirements and benefits of the program in a viewer friendly way

  4. Needs • More concise text on printed material and website • More interactive webpage featuring the Emphasis Programs • Video of Student and Faculty interviews • Redesign the layout of the Emphasis Program webpage

  6. Objectives • The learner will identify the benefits of the programs • The learner will know the class sequence of the programs • The learner will evaluate past projects and decide whether the program is a good fit for them
