The Heights of Asia: Exploring Mount Everest and Physical Features

Discover the tallest mountain in the world, Mount Everest, which rises to an impressive height of 29,029 feet. On May 29, 1953, climbers Edmund Hillary of New Zealand and Tenzing Norgay of Nepal reached its summit. However, the journey is perilous, with approximately 240 climbers losing their lives due to avalanches, rockslides, and harsh weather conditions. This article also explores Asia's physical features, including prominent rivers like the Ganges and Indus, mountain ranges such as the Himalayas and Altai, and key deserts including the Gobi and Taklimakan.
