  5. Explore Thailand’s history… Travel on famous bridge over River Kwai and ride the Death Railroad.

  6. Visit historic places… Visit war cemetery, Three Pagodas Pass, sunken temple, etc.

  7. Learn about the culture…

  8. Get to know its people… Visit a rural school and spend the day in a Karen village.

  9. Shop and eat in local markets…

  10. Class for Thailand study abroad: • Econ 475: Introduction to Southeast Asia • NO prerequisite. • Class will meet intensively for 3 days prior to departure. • Meets GOAL 9. • Content includes economics, social issues, history, religion, etc.
