Chapter 5 Reading • Group Reading Strategies • Everyone read on their own with “checkpoints” • At the checkpoints, stop for a minute and make sure everyone is “on the same page” • Rotate paragraphs or pages • Stop and ask for clarification when needed • Assign roles • One person be Ethan, one be Mattie, narrator, Zeena • For this group reading, remember and look for all the motifs. Try to help everyone in your group fill out their chart further than it already is.
