  2. 1. Maintain The Unit’s Filters • Firstly air conditioner should be unplug and front cover should be removed. The filter itself may be attached to the back or the front cover or secure in front of the coils. • Now wash it with warm water and soap after removing the filter. Ostracize as much water as possible and let the filter dry before reinstalling it. Restore a damaged or torn filter. • Clean the cover itself as well as the grill over the evaporator coils. • The grill and evaporator coils should be gently vacuumed.
