  3. When • PREPARE NOW • Preparation is the most important thing you can do • Brain Storm with your staff: • what will need to be done for the tender • Who will be involved

  4. When • Gather Evidence of your Performance and Capability • Collect Data • Develop Case Studies • Develop a base Service Delivery Model • Employer data • Agency links

What • What will be tendered? • 3 Star and Below. ie Most of the Business • Non Remote (Remote will have 12mths extension to conduct consultation on how to deliver) • What will you tender for? • Larger Business Share in current ESAs? • Business Share in new ESAs • Will you tender? • How will you make your decisions?

What • What will the tender look like • Probably similar structure to the JSA & DMS tenders • Connection in the ESA • Employers • Agencies and services • Past Performance • Job Placement • Outcome achievement • Meeting client needs • What structure will you develop to deliver the contract? ie Service Delivery Model • What is your point of difference?

How • How will you develop the tender? • Allow enough time • Start now • Preparation now will mean less stress when writing • How Much are you willing to invest? • Financially • Staffing (How will you manage their current workload?) • Will you use an external system or tender coordinator/writer? • How much will be developed internal or external?

Who • Who will be involved? • Will you use external assistance? • How many internal staff will be involved? • Full-time or Part-time? • What will happen to their responsibilities? • Who will be the Coordinator of the project? • Who will have the final say? • Who will ensure the tender meets all the technical requirements? • How will decisions be made?

  9. Where • Where will you meet? • Face to Face • Video Conferencing • Phone • How often will you meet? • Where will the data/files be kept? • Secure site on server? • Who will have access? • How will you manage version control?
