  1. Present: Zinour, Rudiger, Michele, Arjan, Daniel, Per, Mirko, Matteo RSD1. A12B2 (590 A): Quench at plateau (590 A). Pyramid done (550, 40min, 570 40 min, 590, 40 min). Quench at plateau of 550 A after 12 min New pyramid done (460, 40 min, 490, 40 min, 520, 40 min, 550, 40 min, 590). Pyramid OK. RCS.A34B1: Quench at plateau (-550 A). Pyramid to be done (-500, 40 min, -525, 40 min, -550, 40 min). Pyramid OK. RCSSX3.L1: 2 Q during ramp up at about 64 A. Pyramid done (40 A, 40 min, 50 A, 40 min, 60 A, 40 min, 65 A, 40 min). Quenched again at 64 A. I_PNO reduced to 60 A. Closed RCBXH3.L5: Strange 300 K temperature regulation on the leads. Forwarded to ELQA. Perform pyramid 150, 250, 350, 450, 550 A. Closed Ad-hoc MP3 meeting 27/2/2013

  2. RQTF.A34B1: Quench at plateau. Pyramid to be done (500, 20 min, 525, 20 min, 550, 2 hr). Pyramid OK. Closed RQTF.A78B1:Quench at plateau. Pyramid to be done (500, 20 min, 525, 20 min, 550, 2 hr). Pyramid done. PNO OK. Closed RQTF.A12B1:Quench at plateau. Pyramid to be done (500, 20 min, 525, 20 min, 550, 2 hr). Pyramid OK. Closed And in 2007/2008 similar quenches observed on RQTF.A45B2

  3. K-H Mess, Chamonix 2009 RQT13.L5B1, RQTF.A45B2, ? Is there a bad splice hidden somewhere? Is reducing the nominal current enough???

  4. RCBXH3.L5: ELQA OK. Tripped in the past at 50 A Decision 22/2: QPS problem. Intervention in tunnel according to proposal Zinour. New results: Some inversion in wiring, possibly with ‘inversion’ in firmware. Magnet has reached nominal in earlier HWC. New results 25/2: compensation now seems to work fine. Complete commissioning to be done. New results 26/2: Fully commissioned. Closed RCO.A78B2: special ELQA to be done Pyramids to 20 A and 58 A done. V(I)=R is not linear, see plot. Diagnostics in the tunnel to better localize the defect(s) foreseen for 26/2 or 27/2. RD2.L1: Quench at 3884 A during ramp up with very slow developing U_RES. MBRC working at 4.5 K with I_nom=4400 A. Seems (at first look) quench in both busbars. DFBLA together with RQ6.L1, RQ5.L1 and RQ4.L1. RQ4.L1 geos in SPA, then the bus heats up due to RD2.L1 and then quenches 8 sec after RD2.L1. Antonio will be contacted to check the cooling.
