  2. Remember… What is a noun? A noun is a person, place, thing, or idea.

  3. Remember… What is a verb? A verb is a “doing” or action word.

  4. Remember… What is an adjective? An adjective is a word that describes a noun. Adjectives are descriptive words.

  5. Remember… If you see “ly” it is usually an adverb! What is an adverb? An adverb is a word that describes a verb. Adverbs tell us how, when, and where something happened.

  6. naïve Click: Charlie Brown and Lucy Lucy constantly plays hoaxes on Charlie Brown… and he believes her every time because he is naïve.

  7. niche Some people are more academic, while others are more athletic. Students often have to find their niches.

  13. detest Little kids often detest the foods that their parents make them eat. They would rather indulge on snacks!
