Southern Africa Group

Southern Africa is witnessing significant advancements through the enactment of evidence-based policies that engage all stakeholders in agriculture. This has cultivated an enabling environment essential for growth. The Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) has fortified institutional frameworks for dialogue, fostering partnerships that are increasingly acknowledged as crucial. Key priority actions include operationalizing a mutual accountability framework, implementing joint sector reviews, ensuring budget allocations for effective programs, and refining policy environments for youth, the private sector, and access to finance.
