  6. Flying Buttress • Stone pillars on the exterior of a cathedral, helps support weight of vault

  7. Vault • An arched, or curved, structure that usually forms the ceiling or roof of a building

  9. Bell Tower • Holds and protects cathedral bells. • Usually sits on top of cathedral to the side of the building.
