DESCRIPTION
Year 5 River Study. We visited the local river to carry out a geographical field study. Prior to going on the river visit, the children made their own fishing nets. They created their nets by sewing a piece of fine netting together and attaching it to a cane. The nets were a success!.

We investigated river depth and the speed of flow at different points along the river.
