  4. You do not require a referral to attend BNE. • You can simply arrive, or come via your GP’s advice or by ambulance (yes, you can ask the ambulance driver to bring you to BNE). You will be seen within moments of arriving- if not immediately. www.emergencyBNE.com.au

  5. Adults • We treat most adult conditions with the exception of multi-trauma, DVA, psychiatric and obstetrics patients greater than 22 weeks. (who should all be seen at a large public or relevant facility) www.emergencyBNE.com.au

Children • We see children of all ages and treat most childhood accidents and illnesses. • Our doctors and nursing staff have many years of paediatric emergency experience. • We have access to paediatricians across Brisbane for ongoing care and management if hospitalisation is required. • . www.emergencyBNE.com.au

  9. You do not require private insurance*. • All private emergency facilities require a similar GAP payment (around $250-$300). • Our fees can be explained to you on arrival to BNE. * Health insurance generally covers costs associated with inpatient care only.
