  1. 材料化学工程国家重点实验室 学术报告 报告题目：Wetting at the Nano-Scale 主讲人：Keith E.Gubbins教授 （美国工程院院士、分子模拟领域学术泰斗） 主讲人单位：美国北卡州立大学 时间：2014年9月14日(周日) 上午10:00-11:00 地点：丁家桥校区创新楼A506 Brief Introduction: Keith E.Gubbins, the distinguished university professor in North Carolina State University, American Academy of Engineering. Professor Gubbins is an authority in the field of molecular modeling, andhe created the SAFT equation which is one of the most important simulation tools for the fluid phase equilibrium. His group’s research program is aimed at understanding, at the molecular level, the behavior of nano-dimensional fluids and solids. His outstanding research achievements have been unanimously recognizedby chemical engineering and chemical industry, and he was awarded the "Alpha Chi Sigma Research Award" by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE)in 1986. The award is to honor the most important academic contributors all over the world in chemical engineering area in the past 10 years.
