  1. buildingSMART ME ITM report Abu Dhabi 2011 • 33 corporatemembers ~150 individualmembers • 4 new corporate members last quarter • Activities • The buildingSMART ME (Chapter) GCC BIM survey has been published (available as PDF on www.bsame.org) and has created a big interest in the market. • Build Smart 2010 conference took place in Abu Dhabi, with over 190 participants • Tahir has been in discussions with Kuwait Ministry of Public Works and Qatar to take on board open standards • India, Egypt and Jordan councils initiated • Member seminar on standardization and standards • Coming activities • Councils really going • Traning and certification • Person hired for training and cerfication (part time) • BIM journal and BSI news letters BuildingSMART International Conference 2011Integrated Construction for Sustainable Build
