Course Objectives • •Develop and improve aspects of academic reading in English language. • •Develop new vocabulary which is relevant to academic studies and the ability to derive meaning from context • •Advance to a higher level of reading comprehension • •Apply skills learned from reading texts to writing texts and preparing presentations, debates in English • •Improve communication skills • .

  4. Textbooks • Ward, Colin (2010). From Reading to Writing 4. Pearson, Longman, USA. • Additional readings and worksheets will be distributed as necessary. • You will need a blank notebook for you course diary, and you must bring it with you to class.
